petit dej sur place des lodges ?

1) Attire: set the expectations of what you want your guests to wear, and make it crystal clear. Do not assume they will be able to decipher what “black tie optional” means. Feel free to go so far as to providing a mood board or examples. Your guests will be GRATEFUL for the clarity.

2) Schedule of events: People have lives going on outside your wedding day. Being explicit about when every single event takes place and for how long helps your guests handle the logistics of childcare, letting a dog out, securing flights, arranging late check-out, etc. The more clear you are on scheduling the less chance your guests will be late.

3) Gift Registry: Whether you’re asking for physical gifts, donations to a cause, or cold hard cash, provide links to the registries and websites you are using to collect money. Lest you want Phyllis’s friend’s birdhouse as a gift IYKYK

4) Children & Plus Ones Policy: Make it clear whether or not guests are allowed to bring their kids and/or a plus 1. You’d be VERY surprised how loosely some people interpret an invitation, and you don’t want any day-of surprises when it comes to figuring out extra meals and seating.

1) HOTEL BLOCK INFO: If you’re providing a discounted hotel room block, make it clear what hotel, what dates are eligible, how many total rooms you have access to, and the price per night. So many people drag ass booking their rooms because they assume a block of rooms is UNLIMITED but in most cases you’re only looking at around 20 total rooms, and if you’ve got a lot of out of town guests those book up QUICKLY.

2) TRANSPORTATION: if your ceremony/reception/after party/lodging are in different locations, provide info about whether or not you are offering complimentary shuttling to and from, along with when. If not, provide clear parking information for each venue.

3) PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY: Are you having an unplugged ceremony? Do you WANT your guests to capture as much footage as possible? Do you want them to wait to post until you do? Set their expectations at the jump along with how they can get all their footage to you.

4) DIETARY RESTRICTION CONSIDERATIONS: As someone with a gluten allergy I would KILLLLL to know if the food served during cocktail hour and the reception are safe for me to eat. Work with your venue to ensure dietary restrictions can be accommodated and if possible, list the food that will be served and label the dietary restrictions accordingly (ie; during cocktail hour we will serve shrimp cocktail (GF), deviled eggs (VEG, GF), and pork sliders.)
